At Immerse, we respect your right to control your personal information. This article explains how to request deletion of your Immerse account and the data associated with it, and what to expect after you submit a request.


What you can request

You can request deletion of your Immerse account and all data associated with it, or you can request deletion of specific information we hold about you (for example, just your profile).

How to submit a deletion request

To submit a request, email support@immerse.online from the email address associated with your Immerse account, using the subject line "Data Deletion Request" to help us route it quickly. Please include:

  • "Deletion Request" in the Subject line or body
  • Your full name

  • The registered email address of your Immerse account
  • Whether you'd like to delete your entire account, or only specific information (please describe what you'd like deleted)

If you can't email us from the address on file, we may ask for additional information to verify your identity before processing the request. This is to protect your account from unauthorized deletion.


What happens after you submit a request?

  • We'll confirm receipt of your request within 10 business days.
  • We'll complete the deletion within 45 days of verifying your identity. In some cases — for example, complex requests or when we receive a high volume — we may extend this period by an additional 45 days (for a total of up to 90 days), and we'll let you know if that applies to your request.
  • Once your account is deleted, you'll permanently lose access to all lessons, classes, and all associated progress. This action cannot be undone.

Data we may retain

In limited cases, we're required to retain certain information to comply with legal, accounting, security, or fraud-prevention obligations. Where we retain data, we keep only what's necessary and continue to protect it in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

If your Immerse account was provided to you through your employer, school, or another organization, some data may be retained or controlled by that organization under their agreement with Immerse. In those cases, we'll work with you and your organization's administrator to fulfill your request to the extent we're able.
