Learn how to create an account and subscribe to IMMERSE from a computer or Meta Quest VR headset.

Welcome to IMMERSE! We're thrilled to have you join us on your learning journey. Whether you're here for our AI features or to practice with other real humans, we're delighted to have you. Let's get your account set up and your free trial started so you can begin making significant learning gains!

🚨 Important Note for Corporate Learners:

If you are a corporate learner, please do not use this registration method. Instead, IMMERSE will provide you with a private registration link to set up your account. For detailed instructions, refer to the Account Registration for Corporate Learners support article or contact your Program Admin directly.

Creating a New Account

⚠️ Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and Privacy Policy

By joining, you agree to uphold our Community Guidelines and actively contribute to a positive environment. All users are responsible for adhering to these expectations within the IMMERSE platform and Community Page and for reporting any violations.

Reciprocal Access

After creating your account and subscribing to an IMMERSE membership, you can access IMMERSE from either a computer or VR, regardless of the method used for initial setup.

On Computer

  1. Go to https://immerse.com in a web browser.

  2. Click > Login at the top right of the page

  3. Click > No Account? Sign Up!

  4. Select the language you want to learn.

  5. Click > Continue

  6. Select your learning goal.

  7. Click > Continue

  8. Complete your profile by entering your first name, last name, email, and chosen password.

  9. Check the box to confirm that you are over 18 to accept our Terms of Service.

In VR

  1. Put on your Meta Quest headset and go to the Store.

  2. Search & Download the IMMERSE - Language classes and practice with AI app.

  3. Open IMMERSE.

  4. Click > Sign Up.

  5. Meet Geo! Your learning companion, Geo, will guide you through the signup process, explaining each step along the way.

  6. Select the language you want to learn.

  7. Add your name.

  8. Enter the email address you want to use for your account.

  9. Create a password

  10. Check the box to verify that you are at least 18 years old, and agree to the Terms of Service.

  11. Click > Create Account.

  12. Select your learning goal.

⚙️Exiting Account Creation Before Membership Selection

If you close the window during the account creation process, your account will still be technically created. You can log in again using your previously set credentials to continue with the subscription process.

⚠️ I didn't receive the email for verifying my account, what should I do?

Don't worry! First, check your junk and spam folders for an email from IMMERSE. If it's not there, please contact The Support Team for help.


Subscribing for Platform Access

Upon creating an IMMERSE account with your email and password, you will be unsubscribed. To gain access to the Immerse platform, you'll need to initiate a subscription. This either happens during the account creation process, or afterwards. IMMERSE provides three distinct subscription intervals tailored to your learning requirements. New members are eligible for a 14-day free trial, allowing them to explore the platform before committing to a subscription.

Starting the Free Trial

💡Why is payment information required for a free trial?

Requiring payment details for a free trial is standard practice for most subscription services. This helps us ensure that users accessing the platform are legitimate and of appropriate age.

On Computer (Stripe)

🪙 Adaptive Pricing for Different Currencies

Adaptive Pricing automatically converts IMMERSE’s USD prices into your local currency when you use our Stripe checkout, payment links, or hosted invoices. We use the latest exchange rates provided by Stripe so you can see prices in the currency that’s most familiar to you. If you prefer, you still have the option to pay in the original currency we set for our prices.

During Account Creation

After agreeing to our Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and Privacy Policy during the account creation process, you’ll then proceed to membership options in order to begin your free trial. Follow the steps below to continue:

  1. Select your preferred subscription tier.

  2. Enter your payment information.

  3. Add a promotion code if applicable.

  4. Confirm your trial end date and expected transaction amount in the fine print.

  5. Click > Start Trial

  6. Receive an email confirmation that your trial has begun.

After Account Creation

  1. Log in to the WebApp.

  2. Under the BECOME A MEMBER modal, click > View Membership options

  3. Click > Subscribe on the subscription tier you prefer

  4. Enter your payment information.

  5. Add a promotion code if applicable.

  6. Confirm your trial end date and expected transaction amount in the fine print.

  7. Click > Start Trial

  8. Receive an email confirmation that your trial has begun.

In VR (Meta)

Learners cannot log into the IMMERSE VR app without having an active trial or subscription. After logging in to an account that is unsubscribed, you will be confronted with subscription options. Follow the steps below to activate your free trial:

  1. Log in to the IMMERSE VR app.

  2. Select your preferred subscription tier.

  3. Enter your payment information, or select from your saved payment methods with Meta.

  4. Confirm your trial end date and expected transaction amount in the fine print.

  5. Click > Confirm.

⚠️ Active Promotions

If IMMERSE has any active promotions, you will not have the ability to apply them if you subscribe in VR, as Meta's payment system does not accept Immerse promotions. To use a promotion, please subscribe through the web app as described above, even if you plan to use IMMERSE in VR.

Resubscribing

If you've previously used your free trial, your payment will be charged for the full subscription cost immediately upon logging into your IMMERSE account and following the same steps as a new trial (as outlined above👆). Your billing period will begin at this time, and no trial period will be shown.

Additional Free Trial Periods

If your active Immerse subscription ended more than six months ago, you may be eligible for a complimentary 7-day free trial. This allows you to explore our latest updates and learning features. To claim your trial and decide if you'd like to resume your learning journey, please contact our Support Team at [email protected].


Frequently Asked Questions

Are 3 and 6 month subscriptions billed monthly or all at once in advance?

Our 3-month and 6-month subscriptions are billed in full upfront, that’s where the discount comes in. Rather than paying monthly, you pay once for the full term and it automatically renews at the end of that period for the same price.

  • 3-month plan: $90 total (~$29.99/month)

  • 6-month plan: $150 total (~$24.99/month)

Can I buy a yearly (12 month) membership instead of the 6-month option?

Currently, we do not provide yearly packages. However, if there is sufficient user interest, this option may be considered for future updates.

Can my subscription be put on hold/paused to be used at a later date?

Plan durations are for consecutive access and cannot be paused. For example, a 3-month subscription cannot be paused in the second month and resumed 6 months later. If you are unsure about needing continuous access, we recommend subscribing month-to-month and canceling as needed, rather than committing to multiple months at once.

Is there a family plan option?

Currently, each learner requires an individual Immerse account and subscription. A single membership is designed for one learner and one account, and there is no option to create multiple accounts or learning profiles under a single membership at this time.

Is there a military or senior discount?

Since IMMERSE is primarily designed for enterprise training programs, we don’t currently offer individual discounts like military or senior pricing.

Can I learn more than 1 language at once / under one membership?
